The irony of life

It's midnight somewhere far north;
The silence of the night is
shattered by the cry of an unborn child.
The cry of a would-be mom is
silenced by an intolerable pain.
A pain only a mother can feel;

A pain only a mother can feel;
The cry of a would-be mom is
silenced by the cry of a newborn.
The silence of the night is
broken by the celebration of new life.
It's midnight somewhere down south;

It's so beautiful. It captures the subtleties of contrast offered by life, wherein pain and joy exist together. The arrangement of sentences is also beautiful. It's abcd dcba, where a, b, c, and d denote particular sentence patterns.
