NOT IN TOWN

I am staring at the window and my mind on the moon;
I woke up in the morning, but now its almost noon;
I got up from the bed, but dont know what to do;
Had a cup of coffee listening to the radio;
I am feeling so jaded, cause my girl in not in town;
I m missing her badly, and that's why I am so down;

I went to the office but slept away the day;
Boss called me up and said "howbout a month without a pay"?
I tried to pull me up and got my work done;
But it was almost night before I finally return;

I tried to call her Up just to say I love her;
Her mom picked up the phone And my words disappear;
Now I am having my dinner with soup and some meat;
I wish she was here to share the food a bit;
